Question by : Who has tried the Body Shop Tea Tree skin line?
I’m interested in using the Body Shop’s tea tree line on my face. I plan on buying the cleanser, toner, and face mask, because I already have a moisturizer that works beautifully. My goal is to clear up minor acne breakouts, and remove excess oil from my face and neck. Is this line a good choice for my needs?

So I’m 19 and have had really bad acne for quite a long time. I’ve used a lot of different face washes that haven’t helped, so I thought I would give the Body Shop a try. The lady working there recommended the Tea Tree line – I bought a small kit to see if it’ll work. I got the face wash, toner, tea tree oil, & skin clearing lotion. Now my question is – how do I use all this, what’s it for, in what order, etc. I know what the face wash is for & how to use it obviously. But I’m not sure about the other stuff, I’m assuming I have to use them simultaneously to get best results. And what the heck is this little bottle of Tea Tree Oil for?
I’d appreciate any help – I kinda have no idea about any of this stuff. Thanks!
Also, I heard that since I have naturally oily skin I shouldn’t use the lotion?

used it didn’t work. you need anything with benzoyl peroxide in it. that’s what gets rid of acne. try murad, or oxy maximum daily face wash. yes even proactive. also if you use make up stick to neutrogena make up because most of the other makeup like cover girl has allot of oils in it causing breakouts. 2 weeks you should see lots of improvement.

hi i got these cleansing pads with the following ingredients…
-witch hazel
-grain alcohol
-tea tree leaf oil
-lavandula oil
-chamomile oil
and alot of other extracts which i dont think matter
anyways, can i use these after shaving without irritating my acne?

you should be good. witch hazel is an ingredient in many natural toners, and i use it all of the time.

Again I don’t have horrible acne but pimples keep coming back in small portions what is the best product I can find in stores in Canada (I don’t have a credit card so I can’t buy online). Please if you know anything help I have only two-three weeks till back to school! Is clinque a good line or body shop tea tree eo?

The tea tree oil i use is called “Herbal Authority: Tea tree oil skin wash” It is very neat. I use it everyday for the past week and my skin is clearing up! So try it, im sure it will work for you

well, hello
i used to have a lot of acne until i started using proactiv
it has helped me clear up like 92% of my acne
now i have scars / discoloration but it will eventually go away
im just asking if its possible to use tea tree oil and proactiv at the same time or do i have to stick to only one kind of facewash?
im pretty sure proactiv says you cannot use any acne products other than theirs…

well you can try, but just make sure when you start using the tea tree oil at the same time as proactiv it doesnt dry out your skin. because dryness (against popular belief) can actually cause more breakouts. so just make sure you keep your skin mouisture balance as this will also help with acne!

everytime i use neutrogina or any other product related to that my skin becomes really dry after 3days, and it gets worse. i heard that this helps, does it? im really tired of my acne, im 13 btw.

My cousin is 15 and she has the foaming tea tree oil face wash and i used it and it made my skin really soft. Whether it works for acne or not probably just depends on your skin but if nothing else words it might be worth a shot.

facecleanser on my acne blemishes twice a day in shower and works kind off but make my face red even with moisturizer.instead of twice should i do it in morning and then at night use aveeno facial scrub to exfoliate gently??????need help???

Wash in the morning, and before bed. Exfoliate ONCE A WEEK.
Also, invest in better products. But NOT ProActiv or anything like that. It’s horrible for your skin. I use various products from dhccare.com. It costs a bit more, but it’s all good stuff.

It works really, really well. It zaps pimples away like a miracle.
You can get it at health-food stores. Although I just simply head to The Body Shop for their little bottle of diluted tea tree oil.
