I went to CVS and found this AcneFree Sulfur Mask. It’s in a little orange box, and it really helped my skin. Just use it 3 times a week or whenever you have break outs and you should be good. I also use Almay Concealer and Foundation and a Powder that matches my skin tone that makes zits not as noticeable (:

What is the best skincare line for both adult acne and anti aging?

Question by Princess Ty: What is the best skincare line for both adult acne and anti aging?
I’m a 30 year old female who has mild acne (blackheads with the occasional breakout) but also need an anti aging product as well. I’ve tried neutrogena and do not necessarily need a low cost regimine, just one that works. I’m looking for cleanser, treatment, moisturizer, and eye cream. Any advice is appreciated!

Princess Ty, this is what I use and recommend, although I have not used acne products in several years but this is what I used:
Neutrogena cleanser mild (not acne cleansers – since those leave the skin bone dry and then the skin over produces oil). You may want also to consider Olay foaming cleanser. I found just washing multiple times a day kept the oil/dirt/bacteria at bay. For stubborn zits, just use a spot treatment cream like oxy10. I always applied it at night and after I showered. There is no need to cover your entire face with acne treatment just the zits.
For face moisturizer I use Preve by Isabella Pelle. It has the highest concentration of the best moisturizer known to date; hyaluronic acid, and it’s anti aging.
for eye cream I use their Extreme Eye Rescue. It’s made specifically for the eye area. I hope this helps.

Is this a good skin-care regime?

Question by pleb: Is this a good skin-care regime?
I have combination skin (very oily forehead, sometimes dry cheeks) and quite a few blackheads and spots.

First– Drinking plenty of water, eating healthily, taking vitamins and regular exercise.
Also first doing a 3 day detox.

Morning:
Wash: Hot water, flannel and light soap or cleansing face wash?
Rinse: Cold water to close pores.
Cleanse: Natural cleanser for oily skin.
Tone: Spray on toner.
Moisturize: (mostly on cheeks, light on forehead?)

Wipe off makeup when home.
Night: Just wash face and moisturize? If so, wash with what?
Or: Cleanse, tone and moisturize again?

Once a week: Exfoliate, steam treatment to open pores, mud mask, lemon juice to reduce acne scars, oat & honey homemade face mask.

Does this sound good? Is there anything I should be doing more or less of? I want to keep it as natural as possible. I’m going to buy a ton of crap from The Body Shop. Any other home remedies? I use sudocrem/toothpaste for spots if I’m desperate. Also, can sun-cream be used to substitute moisturizer? If not, should I apply it before or after moisturizer? If this doesn’t work I’ll go to a dermatologist. Thanks again!

I would lose the spray on toner. Toners dry out your skin especially the spray kind. Try a spf lotion that gradually enhances the color. At night once a week try an all natural facial and followed with a facial scrub. Also for black heads try the black head trips, i love them and they really do work. When you wipe off your makeup use a facial pad that already has the soap in it and use an eye cream to remove eye makeup. It is made to just use a rag that tugs at the skin because you want to be gentle on your facial skin.

Q&A: If skincare products have the same ingredients, why do they all work differently?

Question by breanna♥: If skincare products have the same ingredients, why do they all work differently?
like for example, you can get a cheaper acne facial wash with 2% salicylic acid (neutrogena, or clean & clear, etc.) but those drugstore brands never worked for me.
a clinique acne facial wash had 2% salicylic acid and it actually worked. my skin is slowly clearing up. i have horrible acne on cheeks, and more mild acne on my forehead and chin. i got the clinique wash in their acne solutions kit for $ 49.50.

having a few of similar ingredients doesnt mean their the same. it basically means those ingredients are staples for acne facial products. some producers put different ingredients in their product to suit a skin type they are aiming at and try to avoid allergies for their consumers at the same time.

Q&A: What does “break out” mean in terms of skin-care?

Question by aznyukigurl: What does “break out” mean in terms of skin-care?
A lot of girls say they get break-out from skin care products that aren’t fitting with their skin,
but some of them meant it by drying-out their skin, and some meant getting acne?

So what does breaking-out really mean?

It means like all of a sudden they are getting a lot of acne. An example would be “a sudden manifestation”

First you need to buy a good face wash. Get some st.ives for neutrogena facial wash. Then look for a product called Sea Breeze. And get the purple kind. Its stronger. When you use it first it might sting a little. I have oily skin too but the Sea breeze is good for it. I use it and its great I LOVE IT!!:D Umm and just do that every night after your shower.

Hello BB’S! Here is the INTRO to my ANTI-Aging series. If you haven’t seen my skincare series of vid’s, 1, 2 and 3, PLEASE watch those first! THIS is the most COMPLEX of all of the skincare vid’s I plan to do. To avoid sounding like a commercial, I wanted to SPEAK a little about the subject, some of the KEY factors/bullet points and THEN list my recommendations for what are the most STATE OF THE ART anti-aging products on the market. There is not just ONE miracle ingredient for the skin or ONE ingredient that is capable of reversing free radical damage, sun damage and the inevitable signs of aging! Here are MY PICS (I do have more) of the products on the market today that have SCIENCE behind their effects and benefits for the skin. Here are some of the BEST! I SUGGEST ANYTHING from this line. PCA SKIN. www.pcaskin.com I can HONESTLY say that EVERY one of their products are well formulated, EFFECTIVE and contain all the things your skin needs to function properly. I use their professional line on my clients (as well as many other brands) and SWEAR by the outcome my clients have had. PCA Skin has products available to the public. Check out their site and their before and after pics! I promise you that they ARE NOT retouched! I SWEAR by their Vitamin C 15% or 20% NO. I am NOT in ANY way affiliated w/ PCA Skin or ANY of the product company’s listed below I speak of Hydroquinone. Hydroquinone has been banned in most countries. This is a VERY controversial ingredient. However
